The vehicle in your garage can be as smart as your phone. Turn your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or tablet into a sophisticated diagnostic scan tool and real-time performance monitor. The OBDCheck BLE directly plugs into your vehicle and connects to an OBD II App on your iOS or Android device via Bluetooth. Whenever you have a check engine light on or want to see how your car is performing, the OBDCheck BLE will be a very useful gadget for you.
Unlike normal Bluetooth adapters that only work with Android, the OBDCheck BLE works with both iOS and Android devices. It is also better than WiFi versions with much lower power consumption while allowing you to have access to internet for other apps via your cellular data without complex setting. You can also connect to the car Bluetooth at the same time.

BLUETOOTH OBD2 ADAPTER FOR IOS & ANDROID – Turn your iPhone, iPad or Android phone/tablet into a sophisticated diagnostic scan tool and real-time monitor with a third-party OBD2 App such as OBD Fusion, DashCommand, OBD Auto Doctor, Car Scanner ELM OBD2 for iOS & Android and Torque Pro for Android (more OBD2 Apps available on App Store and Google Play with prices from $0 to $9.99)
DIAGNOSE AND MONITOR – With the proper app, you can read and clear check engine light trouble codes (both generic and manufacturer specific), reset check engine light, prepare smog test, view real-time sensor readings, create customized dashboard and estimate fuel economy.
UNIVERSAL VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY – Works with OBD2 / EOBD compliant cars and light trucks (in the United States, vehicles since year 1996 are supported including light-duty diesel pickup trucks, hybrid and many electric vehicles, no brand limitation). Supports all five OBD-II protocols: CAN, KWP2000, ISO9141-2, J1850 VPW and J1850 PWM.
BETTER CONNECTION THAN WiFi – No complex settings or tricky connections plus much lower power consumption compared to WiFi. It uses Bluetooth and you can have access to internet via your cellular data, connect to the car Bluetooth at the same time when the phone is connected to VEEPEAK device.
A third-party App is required (check compatible apps below). Compatible with iOS (no pairing needed), Android and Windows. May NOT work with some Android car head units with corrupted Bluetooth profiles.

The advanced tool for car enthusiast.
It works with cars and light trucks (including hybrid and some electric) sold in the United States since year 1996. Vehicles in other regions that are OBD II / EOBD may also be supported (Canada – 1998, European Union – 2001 (gas), 2004 (diesel), Australia – 2006 (gas), 2007 (diesel), etc.)
It works with iOS devices via Bluetooth LE as well as Android or Windows devices at classic Bluetooth mode. Remember not to pair with VEEPEAK from the iOS Bluetooth menu. For some Android head units, change the default pairing pin to 1234 in the Bluetooth setting before pairing.
On iOS devices, you will see this error when trying to connect to Bluetooth Low Energy devices from the system Bluetooth Setting. You do not need to connect here. Please reboot your iOS device so “VEEPEAK” shows up again on Bluetooth. Then start the app to connect.
We do not charge you any extra fees to use this device but the device requires a third-party App to work. The App may require purchase (normally from free to $9.99 decided by the app developers, Vehicle-specific Apps are usually more expensive). Some Apps also offer in-app purchase for advanced features. The device can be used on as many vehicles as you like.
When using with Android, you will be required to enter a pairing pin which is “1234”. When “VEEPEAK” is in paired status, you can start the app to connect. If it fails to pair, no pin is prompted, or it asks for a 16-digit pin, please try the following tips: reboot your device; clear Bluetooth storage and cache; reset network setting.
OBD2 connector is always powered for most vehicles. As it uses low energy Bluetooth, you can leave the device plugged in from days to 3 weeks depending on the battery condition
If the blue LED is not on, check the cigar fuse of your vehicle (a blown fuse is usually the problem). You can also try with another vehicle to verify. (If you have tried to pair from iOS Bluetooth Setting, please reboot your iOS device.)
Make sure “VEEPEAK” shows on Bluetooth device list of iOS, or in Paired devices for Android. Make sure the App is compatible and the correct connection settings is made.
First check the vehicle compatibility with the App. Verify if your vehicle is OBD2 compliant and the ignition is at ON. Also start the vehicle to try again. Try it on another vehicle if possible. If it fails to connect to multiple vehicles, contact us for assistance.
If the connection drops and requires unplugging device and re-plugging in to re-connect, please contact us for firmware update.
Most OBD2 Apps only provide basic check engine light diagnostics. You will need a specific App that can do enhanced diagnostic on your specific vehicle. Contact us for app recommendations. Oil change or maintenance required lights cannot be read or reset since there is no error code for them.
O2 Readings, Engine Coolant Temperature, Speed, Fuel Trim, Balance Rates and more. Readable parameters depend on what's installed on the OBDII system by the manufacturer. Generally, newer vehicles will give more readings and faster refresh speed. Some readings like transmission temp are manufacturer-specific and you will need add custom PIDs in the app.
